Mining SystemMining is a gathering profession built around extracting fragments and shards from Shardstones found throughout the world. It is also connected to The Ironbound Pact. Fragments and shards obtained through Mining are used to create materials for the Rarity and Attribute System, making Mining one of the main sources of attribute progression materials.

Fragment Chance
80% reward chance on successful mining.
Shard Chance
20% reward chance on successful mining.
Base Success
Mining starts at 4% success chance at skill 10.
Skill Scaling
Every Mining skill above 10 adds 0.597% success chance.
Success Cap
Skill based success caps at 50% before pick bonuses.
Pick Bonus
Picks add flat success bonuses on top of skill chance.
Skill Gain
Every valid mining attempt grants 1 Mining skill try.
Node Failure
Failed attempts have a 20% chance to break the shardstone.
