Protect Your Valantis Account

Most account theft can be prevented by protecting your login details, email account and recovery information. Follow the recommendations below to keep your account secure.

Valantis staff will never ask for your password or recovery key. Anyone asking for these details is attempting to gain access to your account.

Keep Your Login Private

Never share your password, recovery key or other private account credentials with players, friends or staff members.

Use a Unique Password

Use a strong password that you do not use on other games, websites, Discord accounts or email services.

Protect Your Email

Your registered email is an important part of account recovery. Keep the email account secure and make sure you always have access to it.

Protect Your Recovery Key

Treat your recovery key as highly sensitive information. Store it somewhere safe and never send it to another person.

Essential Security Rules

Never share your account credentials. Valantis staff do not need your password or recovery key to assist you.
Only enter your login details on the official website. Before logging in, verify that you are visiting valantis.online.
Do not reuse passwords. Your Valantis password should be different from your email, Discord and other gaming passwords.
Do not share or trade accounts. Giving another person access means giving them an opportunity to steal items, characters or the entire account.
Be careful with links and downloads. Fake clients, cheat tools, unknown executables and phishing websites may be designed to steal your login information.
Keep your computer and browser updated. Security updates fix known vulnerabilities that can otherwise be used to compromise your computer or browser.
Secure your email account. Use a strong unique password and enable additional security features offered by your email provider whenever possible.
Avoid logging in on computers you do not trust. Public or shared computers may contain software capable of recording passwords and other sensitive information.

Watch Out for Impersonation and Phishing

Scammers may pretend to be staff members, friends or other trusted players. They may offer free items, premium features, assistance or special rewards in exchange for account information.

They may also send links to websites designed to look like Valantis. Always check the address before entering any account information.

If a person asks for your password or recovery key, do not provide it regardless of who they claim to be.

If You Think Your Account Has Been Compromised

Secure Your Device

Stop using suspicious software, remove unknown programs, scan your computer and make sure your operating system and browser are up to date.

Secure Your Email

Change your email password if there is any possibility that your email account has also been compromised. Review its active sessions and security settings.

Once the original security problem has been addressed, use the Lost Account Interface to recover access to your Valantis account.
