3.1 Bug Abuse
|
Exploiting obvious errors of the game or any other part of our services.
|

3.2 Using Unofficial Software to Play
|
Using unofficial software, modifying the official game client, or manipulating hardware to gain an advantage is strictly prohibited. This includes altering or abusing the game client, using additional software to automate or assist gameplay, modifying input devices such as keyboards or mice, funneling botted gold, items, or other resources between characters, or pretending to cheat in order to deceive other players.
This rule also applies to any malicious or prohibited software detected on your system, even if it is being used for other servers or games at the same time you are connected to Valantis.

3.3 Using More Than One Game Client to Play
|
Using more than one game client at the same time is not allowed. One player may only control one character online at any given time.
Using multiple accounts simultaneously, regardless of purpose, is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to rune making, skill training, hunting, questing, or any other in game activity.
Using technical workarounds to bypass this rule is also prohibited. This includes using VPS, virtual machines, multiple computers, multiple internet connections, or modifying the game client to allow multiple instances.
Any attempt to mask multiclienting by claiming another character belongs to yourself or by pretending another character is controlled by someone else is considered a violation.
If multiple people play from the same household or internet connection, each character must be actively controlled by a different person. One person may never control more than one character, even briefly.
Exit logging out of the client while a character remains online and then logging in with another character is also considered having multiple characters online at the same time and is a violation.
Participation in PvP, cooperative gameplay, shared hunting, blocking paths, blocking spawns, healing, or assisting oneself using multiple characters is strictly prohibited under all circumstances.
This rule is absolute and applies regardless of intent, duration, or method used.

3.4 Using VPN/VPS/Proxy
|
Using VPS, VPN, proxy services, or similar network routing tools to remain connected while unattended, to automate actions, or to bypass client or server restrictions is not allowed.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Staying online while runemaking or performing repetitive actions without active player control.
- Creating traps, blocking areas, or occupying positions while not actively playing.
- Using services such as ExitLag, NoPing, or similar tools to obscure the real connection source for rule evasion.
VPN or proxy services may be used for connection stability or routing purposes only, and never to hide multi clienting, automation, or unattended gameplay.

4.1 Supporting Rule Violation
|
Statements or actions that support, encourage, announce, or imply a violation of the Valantis Rules.

4.2 Griefing and Destructive Behaviour
|
Actions that deliberately disrupt gameplay, exploit systems, or damage the game environment or player experience.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Using the names, identities, or reputation of other players to scam or deceive.
- Monopolizing or controlling a location.
- Any other actions or abuses that significantly alter or break normal game dynamics to the detriment of other players or the server.
Not all forms of destructive behaviour can be listed. Gamemasters may evaluate situations individually.
The staff reserves the right to take action against inappropriate behaviour even if it is not explicitly mentioned in the rules.

4.3 Blocking in Protection Zones
|
Blocking players inside protection zones in a way that prevents them from leaving the zone,
without providing any reasonable possibility to pass, is not allowed.

|
Blocking passages, areas, or essential locations on Rookgaard is not allowed.
This rule is enforced with progressive punishments to protect new players and ensure fair access to the starting area.

Valantis does not take any responsibility towards the action of hacking. However, we do consider advertisement of such actions to be penalized which may lead to a deletion of your account.
