We hope you've all had a great summer! We're excited to finally share the latest Valantis update with you. It includes plenty of new content, improvements, balance changes, and a number of additions across the world.
Creatures
- Added the following monsters:

In addition to the map updates, the Level 150 Dungeon has been removed from the game. While revisiting older content, I felt that its layout and overall theme no longer met the quality standard I want for Valantis. Rather than keeping it in its current state, it will be replaced by a completely new Level 150 Dungeon in the upcoming Ice Islands update.
The Inverted Library has also been renamed to Kha'labal Ancient Library, and its entrance mechanics have been redesigned. As part of this change, the Serpentine Tower mechanics have also been updated and are now integrated into the Ankrahmun Faction.
NPCs
- Additional Obsidian Knives, or replacements if lost, can now be purchased from A Sweaty Cyclops for 45,000 gold by players who have already completed the quest.
Client
- Added Bosses tab to the Bestiary window.
- Improved creature preview positioning across the Bestiary.
- Swapped the confirmation dialog button order for Tasks, placing "Yes" before "No" for a more intuitive interaction.
Other
- Faction bosses no longer need to be accepted or handed in through an NPC. Once unlocked through the story, they can be challenged directly by entering their teleport whenever their cooldown has expired. Note: During the initial story encounter, the boss must still be handed in to the corresponding NPC after being defeated or failed.
- Added Sheep to the task list.
- Fixed some issues with Goshnar's Malice boss mechanics.
